حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يُؤَذَّنُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا يُقَامُ لَهُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, Sharik told us, from Simak ibn Harb, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: The call to prayer and the iqamah were not given for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the two 'Eid festivals.
