حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا زَالَتْ الشَّمْسُ لَا يَخْرِمُ ثُمَّ لَا يُقِيمُ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ أَقَامَ حِينَ يَرَاهُ.
English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah said: Bilal used to call the adhan precisely when the sun passed its zenith, then he would not call the iqamah until the Prophet (peace be upon him) came out. When the Prophet came out, he would call the iqamah as soon as he saw him.
