English Translation
Abdullah ibn Sarjis narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'None of you should urinate in a hole. When you go to sleep, extinguish the lamp, for the mouse may take the wick and burn the people of the house. Tie the mouths of the waterskins, cover the drinks, and close the doors at night.' They asked Qatadah: 'What is disliked about urinating in a hole?' He said: 'It is said that they are the dwellings of the jinn.'
