حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي مَلِيحِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَهَيْنَاكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَهَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ كَيْ يَسَعَكُمْ فَقَدْ جَاءَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بِالسَّعَةِ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا وَاتَّجِرُوا أَلَا وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ وَذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى.
English Translation
Nubayshah narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'We had prohibited you from eating sacrificial meat beyond three days so that it would suffice for everyone. But now Allah, Blessed and Most High, has brought abundance, so eat, store, and seek reward. Indeed, these days are days of eating, drinking, and remembrance of Allah, Blessed and Most High.'
