حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْأَحْوَلِ قَالَ قَالَ عَائِذُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ عَرَضَ لَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ هَذَا الرِّزْقِ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ وَلَا إِشْرَافٍ فَلْيُوَسِّعْ بِهِ فِي رِزْقِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ عَنْهُ غَنِيًّا فَلْيُوَجِّهْهُ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَحْوَجُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْهُ.
English Translation
Hasan ibn Musa told us, Abu al-Ashhab told us, from 'Amir al-Ahwal, who said: 'A'idh ibn 'Amr said, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever is offered something of this provision without asking and without coveting it, let him use it to expand his provision; but if he is not in need of it, let him direct it to someone more in need of it than himself."
