حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّهُ حَجَّ مَعَ ذِي قَرَابَةٍ لَهُ مُقْتَرِنًا بِهِ فَرَآهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا قَالَ إِنَّهُ نَذْرٌ فَأَمَرَ بِالْقِرَانِ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ.
English Translation
Hushaym told us, Ibn 'Awn informed us, a man from the desert-dwellers told us, from his father, from his grandfather: that he performed Hajj along with a relative of his, joined together with him in the combined rites, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw him and said, "What is this?" He said, "It is a vow." So he ordered that the combination be separated.
