English Translation
Waki' told us, from Abu Sufyan ibn al-Ala', who said: I heard al-Hasan narrate that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Were it not that dogs are a community among the communities, I would have ordered them killed; so kill among them every pure black one." He said: So a man said to him: "O Abu Sa'id, from whom did you hear this?" He said: He told me it, and Abdullah ibn Mughaffal swore, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, since such-and-such a time, and he had told us in that very gathering.
