حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَسْأَلُ السَّائِبَ مَا سَمِعْتَ فِي السُّكْنَى بِمَكَّةَ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْمُهَاجِرِ ثَلَاثًا بَعْدَ الصَّدَرِ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Humayd, who said: I heard Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz ask al-Sa'ib what he had heard about residing in Mecca. He said: Al-Ala' ibn al-Hadrami told me that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, regarding the emigrant: "Three days after departure from the rites."
