English Translation
Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I found these hadiths in my father's book, in his own handwriting: Hawdhah ibn Khalifah told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah, from Abu Bakrah, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, who is the best of people?" He said: "He whose life is long and whose deeds are good." He said: "Then who among people is worst?" He said: "He whose life is long and whose deeds are evil."
