حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ ثُرْمُلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهَدَةً بِغَيْرِ حِلِّهَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ لَمْ يَشُمَّ رِيحَهَا.
English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us: Yunus b. 'Ubayd narrated to us, from al-Hakam b. al-A'raj, from al-Ash'ath b. Thurmula, from Abu Bakra, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever kills a soul under covenant without right, God, Blessed and Exalted, has forbidden Paradise to him; he shall not smell its scent."
