حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَن سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَبِهَا وَنِعْمَتْ وَمَنْ اغْتَسَلَ فَذَلِك أَفْضَلُ.
English Translation
Affan told us: Hammam told us: Qatadah told us, from al-Hasan, from Samurah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution (wudu) on Friday, that is sufficient and good; but whoever takes a full bath, that is better."
