حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ وَسُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, Mis'ar and Sufyan told us, from Ma'bad ibn Khalid, from Zayd ibn Uqbah, from Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: he used to recite in the two Eid prayers 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' and 'Has there come to you the account of the overwhelming event.'
