English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun told us, al-Hajjaj ibn Artah informed us, from Sa'id ibn Zayd ibn Uqbah, from his father, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever finds his own property recognized specifically, he has the greater right to it, and his companion (who lost it) pursues whoever bought it from him — and Yazid once said, 'Whoever finds his property.'
