حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ وَحَبِيبٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ أَبِي شَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَسُوا الثِّيَابَ الْبَيَاضَ فَإِنَّهَا أَطْهَرُ وَأَطْيَبُ وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ.
English Translation
Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn told us, al-Mas'udi told us, from al-Hakam and Habib, from Maymun ibn Abi Shabib, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Wear white garments, for they are purer and more pleasant, and shroud your dead in them.
