حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَذِهِ الْبَيَاضِ فَلْيَلْبَسْهَا أَحْيَاؤُكُمْ وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمْ.
English Translation
Isma'il told us, Ayyub told us, from Abu Qilabah, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Wear this white cloth — let your living wear it and shroud your dead in it, for it is among the best of your garments.
