English Translation

Abdullah said: I found in my father's book, in his own handwriting, and I believe that I did hear it from him: Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Mu'adh narrated to us, who said: I found it in my father's book, in his handwriting, but I did not hear it from him: Qatada narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Malik, from Samura ibn Jundab, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Attend the gathering of remembrance and draw near to the imam, for a man will keep drawing back until he is made to lag behind in Paradise, even if he enters it."
