حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْضُرُوا الْجُمُعَةَ وَادْنُوا مِنْ الْإِمَامِ فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَخَلَّفُ عَنْ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيَتَخَلَّفُ عَنْ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِهَا.
English Translation
Surayj ibn al-Nu'man narrated to us, al-Hakam ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, from Qatada, from al-Hasan, from Samura, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Attend the Friday prayer and draw near to the imam, for a man may keep lagging behind from Friday prayer until he is made to lag behind from Paradise, even though he is among its people."
