حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحَسَبُ الْمَالُ وَالْكَرَمُ التَّقْوَى.
English Translation
Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Sallam ibn Abi Muti' narrated to us, from Qatada, from al-Hasan, from Samura, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Noble lineage is wealth, and true nobility is God-consciousness."
