حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَرَوْحٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ هِيَ الْعَصْرُ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ سُئِلَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Rawh narrated to us, they said: Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatada, from al-Hasan, from Samura ibn Jundab, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the Asr prayer" - Ibn Ja'far said: he was asked about the middle prayer.
