حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Adam told us, Malik - i.e. Ibn Mighwal - told us, from Husayn, from ash-Sha'bi, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no valid ruqyah except against the evil eye or a venomous sting."
