حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَخًا لَكُمْ قَدْ مَاتَ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ يَعْنِي النَّجَاشِيَّ.
English Translation
Ismail ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Abu Qilabah, from Abu al-Muhallab, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'A brother of yours has died, so stand and pray over him' — meaning the Negus.
