English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, al-Hasan narrated to us, from Imran ibn Husayn, that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: 'My son has died — what is my share of his inheritance?' He said: 'You have one-sixth.' When the man turned to leave, he called him back and said: 'You have another sixth.' When the man turned to leave again, he called him back and said: 'The second sixth is an extra provision for you.'
