حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ أَبُو طَالُوتَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زِيَادٍ قَالَ لِأَبِي بَرْزَةَ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَهُ قَطُّ يَعْنِي الْحَوْضَ قَالَ نَعَمْ لَا مَرَّةً وَلَا مَرَّتَيْنِ فَمَنْ كَذَّبَ بِهِ فَلَا سَقَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Abd al-Salam Abu Talut narrated to us, al-Abbas al-Jurayri narrated to us, that Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad said to Abu Barzah: 'Did you hear the Prophet (peace be upon him) mention it — meaning the Basin?' He said: 'Yes, not once or twice. Whoever denies it, may Allah not give him drink from it.'
