Yahya ibn Ishaq - meaning al-Salahini - told us: Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from Abu Sinan, who said: I buried a son of mine, and while I was in the grave, Abu Talhah took my hands and brought me out, and said, "Shall I not give you glad tidings?" I said, "Yes." He said: al-Dahhak ibn Abd al-Rahman told me, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah the Exalted said, "O Angel of Death, have you taken the child of My servant? Have you taken the delight of his eye and the fruit of his heart?" He said, "Yes." He said, "What did he say?" He said, "He praised You and said 'Truly to Allah we belong and truly to Him we shall return.'" He said, "Build for him a house in Paradise, and name it the House of Praise." Ali ibn Ishaq told us: Abdullah - meaning Ibn al-Mubarak - informed us, and mentioned it, except that he said "Abu Talhah al-Khawlani," and said "al-Dahhak ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Arzab."
