English Translation
Affan told us: Abd al-Wahid b. Ziyad told us: Asim al-Ahwal told us, from Abu Kabsha, who said: I heard Abu Musa say, on the pulpit: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The likeness of a good companion is like a perfumer: even if he does not give you some, you will be scented by his fragrance. And the likeness of a bad companion is like the owner of a blacksmith's bellows."
