حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُحِلَّ الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لِلْإِنَاثِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Sa'id b. Abi Hind, from a man, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Gold and silk are made lawful for the females of my nation, and forbidden for its males."
