حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَهُوَ الضَّرِيرُ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمْهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
English Translation
Abu Mu'awiya - that is al-Darir - told us: al-A'mash told us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Jarir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will not show mercy to him."
