حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءِ زَمْزَمَ فَتَمَضْمَضَ فَمَجَّ فِيهِ أَطْيَبَ مِنْ الْمِسْكِ أَوْ قَالَ مِسْكٌ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ خَارِجًا مِنْ الدَّلْوِ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ.
English Translation
Abu Ahmad told us: Mis'ar told us, from Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il, from his father, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was brought a bucket of Zamzam water; he rinsed his mouth and spat into it something more fragrant than musk - or he said, musk - and blew his nose outside the bucket. Hasan ibn Musa told us: Zuhayr told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il, from his father, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) place his right hand in prayer over his left, and he mentioned the like of the hadith of Ibn Abi Bakr.
