حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَجْنَبَ رَجُلَانِ فَتَيَمَّمَ أَحَدُهُمَا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ الْآخَرُ فَأَتَيَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَعِبْ عَلَيْهِمَا.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Mukhariq, from Tariq ibn Shihab, who said: Two men fell into major ritual impurity; one of them performed tayammum and prayed, while the other did not pray. They came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he did not blame either of them.
