حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ الرَّابِعَةِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." A man said: "And those who trim?" He said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." The man said again: "And those who trim?" On the third or fourth time, he said: "And those who trim."
