قَالَ قَالَ سَلَمَةُ أَوْصَانِي أَبِي بِصَلَاةِ السَّحَرِ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَتْ إِنِّي لَا أُطِيقُهَا قَالَ فَانْظُرْ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ فَلَا تَدَعَنَّهُمَا وَلَا تَشْخَصَنَّ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ.
English Translation
Salamah said: My father advised me about the pre-dawn prayer. I said, O father, I cannot manage it. He said: Then observe the two rak'ahs before dawn; do not ever abandon them, and do not go out openly into times of trial.
