حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَسُرَيْجٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ سُرَيْجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ إِذَا أَلِمَ بَعْضُهُ تَدَاعَى سَائِرُهُ.
English Translation
Yunus and Surayj told us, they said: Hammad told us, from Simak b. Harb, from al-Nu'man b. Bashir, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - and Surayj said in his account: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say - "The likeness of the believers is that of a single body: when one part of it aches, the rest of it responds."
