حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي عِيسَى مُوسَى الصَّغِيرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَوْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ مِنْ جَلَالِ اللَّهِ وَتَسْبِيحِهِ وَتَحْمِيدِهِ وَتَهْلِيلِهِ تَتَعَطَّفُ حَوْلَ الْعَرْشِ لَهُنَّ دَوِيٌّ كَدَوِيِّ النَّحْلِ يُذَكِّرُونَ بِصَاحِبِهِنَّ أَفَلَا يُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ لَا يَزَالَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ يُذَكِّرُ بِهِ.
English Translation
Yahya told us, from Abu Isa Musa al-Saghir, he said: Awn b. Abdullah told me, from his father, or from his brother, from al-Nu'man b. Bashir, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed those who mention Allah's majesty, and glorify Him, praise Him, and proclaim His oneness, circle around the Throne with a humming sound like the humming of bees, reminding of the one who said them - would not any of you like to have something before Allah that keeps being remembered because of him?"
