حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَوْ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مُضَرِّسٍ الطَّائِيُّ قَالَ جِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَوْقِفِ فَقُلْتُ جِئْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنْ جَبَلَيْ طَيِّئٍ أَكْلَلْتُ مَطِيَّتِي وَأَتْعَبْتُ نَفْسِي وَاللَّهِ مَا تَرَكْتُ مِنْ جَبَلٍ إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ هَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأَتَى عَرَفَاتٍ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا تَمَّ حَجُّهُ وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Isma'il: Amir narrated to us, who said: Urwah ibn Mudarris al-Ta'i narrated to me, or informed me: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, at the standing place (Arafat) and said: I have come, O Messenger of Allah, from the two mountains of Tayy; I have worn out my mount and exhausted myself, and by Allah I did not leave a mountain without stopping at it - do I have a valid Hajj? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever attends this prayer of ours and has come to Arafat before that, by night or by day, his Hajj is complete and he has fulfilled his rites.
