English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us: Sharik narrated to us, from Layth, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from 'Amr ibn Kharijah al-Thumali, who said: I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about a sacrificial animal that becomes disabled. He said: 'Slaughter it, dip its sandal in its blood, and strike it on its flank — or he said, on its side — and do not eat anything of it, neither you nor your companions.'
