English Translation
Ya'qub told us, my father told me, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith told me, from Umar ibn al-Hakam ibn Thawban — who was trustworthy — from Abu Las al-Khuza'i, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mounted us on weak camels from the camels of charity for the Hajj. We said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, these camels are weak; we fear they will not carry us." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "There is no camel but that a devil is on its hump, so ride them and mention the name of Allah over them as you have been commanded, then subdue them for your own use, for it is Allah, Mighty and Sublime, who truly carries [you]."
