حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Ibn Numayr narrated to us, both saying: Hisham narrated to us — and Yazid said: Hisham informed us — from Hafsah bint Sirin, from Salman ibn Amir al-Dabbi, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said — Ibn Numayr said that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say — 'With the boy is his 'aqiqah; so shed blood for him and remove the harm from him.'
