English Translation
Rawh told us, he said: Malik told us, from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn al-Had, from Abu Murrah, the freed slave of Umm Hani, that he entered, along with Abdullah ibn Amr, upon his father Amr ibn al-As, who brought food for the two of them and said, "Eat." He said, "I am fasting." Amr said, "Eat, for these are the days on which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to command us to break our fast and forbade us from fasting." Malik said: These are the days of Tashriq.
