حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لُحُومَ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ وَلَحْمَ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ.
English Translation
Hajjaj told us, Layth told us, he said Uqayl ibn Khalid told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Idris, from Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani, a companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the meat of domestic donkeys and the meat of every fanged beast of prey.
