حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ التَّمِيمِيُّ يَعْنِي زِيَادَ بْنَ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ الْفِهْرِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُسِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, Sufyan told us, and Abd al-Razzaq told us, Sufyan informed us, from Yazid ibn Yazid ibn Jabir, from Makhul, from Ziyad ibn Jariyah, from Habib ibn Maslamah — Abd al-Razzaq said: al-Tamimi, meaning Ziyad ibn Jariyah, from Habib ibn Maslamah al-Fihri — that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, granted an extra share of one third after the fifth (of the spoils).
