حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ وَسُرَيْجُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَرَضُونَ وَيَكْفِيكُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَلَا يُعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَلْهُوَ بِأَسْهُمِهِ قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ شُفَيٍّ.
English Translation
Harun and Surayj ibn Ma'ruf told us, they said: Ibn Wahb told us, Amr ibn al-Harith informed me, from Abu Ali, from Uqbah ibn Amir, that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Lands will be opened to you, and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will suffice you, so let none of you fail to occupy himself with his arrows. Surayj said: Thumamah ibn Shufayy.
