English Translation
Harun ibn Ma'ruf told us — Abu Abd al-Rahman said: and I also heard it from Harun exactly the same — he said: Ibn Wahb informed me, from Amr ibn al-Harith, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, who related to him that a freedman of Shurahbil ibn Hasanah told him that he heard Uqbah ibn Amir and Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman both say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Eat what your bow returns to you.
