حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وهَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَحَقَّ الشُّرُوطِ أَنْ تُوَفُّوا بِهِ مَا اسْتَحْلَلْتُمْ بِهِ الْفُرُوجَ.
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us - and Hashim narrated to us, Layth narrated to us - from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abu al-Khayr Marthad ibn 'Abdullah al-Yazani, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir al-Juhani, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "The conditions most deserving to be fulfilled are those by which you make [sexual relations] lawful."
