حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَا بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ وَهُوَ جَدُّ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَبُو أُمِّهِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَاهُمْ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ.
English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Abi al-Abbas narrated to us, he said: Abu Uways narrated to us, he said: al-Zuhri said: Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham ibn al-Mughirah narrated to him that Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari, the companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, brother of Banu al-Harith ibn al-Khazraj - and he was the grandfather of Zayd ibn al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, the father of his mother - narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade them the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee of a soothsayer.
