حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِالشَّهَادَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا.
English Translation
Ishaq ibn Isa told us: Malik informed us, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Uthman, from Abu Amrah al-Ansari, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, if Allah wills — Ishaq said: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Shall I not inform you of the best of witnesses? He who comes forth with his testimony before he is asked for it."
