حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا الرَّدَّادِ اللَّيْثِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ وَشَقَقْتُ لَهَا مِنْ اسْمِي اسْمًا فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلْتُهُ وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا بَتَتُّهُ.
English Translation
Talhah ibn Ubaydullah reported that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: There is no prophet between me and Isa (Jesus). He will descend, and when you see him, recognize him: he is a man of medium height, reddish-white, wearing two light yellow garments. His head will drip (with water) even if it is not wet. He will fight the people for Islam, break the cross, kill the pig, abolish the jizyah, and Allah will destroy all religions in his time except Islam. He will kill the Antichrist (Dajjal), and he will remain on earth for forty years. Then he will die, and the Muslims will pray over him.'
