English Translation
Waki' told us: Abu al-Mu'tamir told us, from Ibn Sirin, from Mu'awiyah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not ride on silk brocade nor on leopard skins. Ibn Sirin said: Mu'awiyah was never suspected in his narration from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: He is called al-Habari, meaning Abu al-Mu'tamir, and Yazid ibn Tahman is this Abu al-Mu'tamir.
