حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْأَشْتَرِ قَالَ كَانَ بَيْنَ عَمَّارٍ وَبَيْنَ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ كَلَامٌ فَشَكَاهُ عَمَّارٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ مَنْ يُعَادِ عَمَّارًا يُعَادِهِ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَنْ يُبْغِضْهُ يُبْغِضْهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَنْ يَسُبَّهُ يَسُبَّهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ سَلَمَةُ هَذَا أَوْ نَحْوَهُ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, who said: I heard Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman narrate, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from al-Ashtar, who said: There were words between Ammar and Khalid ibn al-Walid, and Ammar complained about him to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever shows enmity to Ammar, Allah, Mighty and Sublime, shows enmity to him; and whoever hates him, Allah, Mighty and Sublime, hates him; and whoever curses him, Allah, Mighty and Sublime, curses him. Salamah said: This or something like it.
