قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادٌ الْخَيَّاطُ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ بِالطُّورِ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ وَقَالَ حَمَّادٌ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ.
English Translation
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik - and Hammad al-Khayyat told me, from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, recite Surat al-Tur in the sunset prayer. Hammad said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, recited it.
