قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بَابَاهُ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ عَطَاءِ هَدَايَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ إِنْ كَانَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ فَلَأَعْرِفَنَّ مَا مَنَعْتُمْ أَحَدًا يُصَلِّي عِنْدَ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ أَيَّ سَاعَةٍ شَاءَ مِنْ لَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ وَقَالَ ابْنُ بَكْرٍ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ.
English Translation
He said: Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr told us, they said: Ibn Jurayj told us, he said: Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Abdullah ibn Baba report, from Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, at the time of giving gifts to the Banu Abd al-Muttalib: O children of Abd Manaf, if you have any authority in this matter, I will surely take note of whatever you have prevented anyone from praying at this House at whatever hour he wishes, of night or day - and Ibn Bakr said: from circling this House.
